Teaching real cold storage skills since 2017

We started because too many people were losing access to their digital assets through simple mistakes. Our workshops focus on what actually works — hardware wallets, seed phrase management, multi-signature setups. The stuff you need to know if you're serious about securing assets long-term. We teach across Thailand and remotely nationwide, reaching learners in different regions who need practical security knowledge they can use right away.

What we actually cover

Hardware Wallet Setup

Step-by-step assignments on initializing devices, understanding firmware updates, and verifying addresses. You practice on actual hardware, not simulators. We cover multiple wallet brands because each has different quirks you need to know. By the end, you'll have configured a working wallet and understand how to troubleshoot common connection issues.

Seed Phrase Management

The recovery phrase is everything. We teach proper recording methods, storage solutions that resist physical damage, and splitting strategies for high-value holdings. Participants work through scenarios: what happens if you lose half your backup, how to test recovery without risking funds, when metal plates make sense versus paper. The exercises force you to think through actual failure modes.

Multi-Signature Systems

For amounts that justify the complexity, multi-sig provides serious security improvements. Our workshops walk through 2-of-3 and 3-of-5 configurations using both software coordination and hardware signers. You'll understand the tradeoffs — increased security versus recovery complexity, cost considerations, and when simpler solutions might be smarter for your situation.

Henrik Bergström teaching cold storage security concepts during workshop

Henrik Bergström

Senior Cold Storage Instructor

Henrik spent six years managing enterprise key systems before switching to education. He's configured over 400 multi-signature wallets and has dealt with every hardware failure mode you can imagine. His workshops focus on practical scenarios — participants bring their own devices and learn through actual setup, not slides.

He teaches recovery procedures by having students practice with test wallets, runs sessions on verifying firmware authenticity, and covers operational security that extends beyond just the device itself. Henrik believes most cold storage failures come from poor understanding of the fundamentals, not sophisticated attacks, so his teaching emphasizes building solid mental models of how these systems actually work.

How our workshops run

Every session follows this progression. You start with basic concepts and end with a working system you've configured yourself.

1

Security Model Review

We map out threat scenarios specific to your situation. What are you protecting against? Physical theft, online attacks, loss of access? Understanding your actual risks shapes every decision that follows.

2

Device Configuration

Hands-on setup of hardware wallets with verification steps. You learn to check firmware signatures, initialize devices securely, and test basic operations. Each participant configures their own hardware under supervision.

3

Backup Implementation

Creating and testing recovery procedures. We practice seed phrase recording, explore different backup media, and actually perform test recoveries. You'll understand the difference between having a backup and having a tested backup.

4

Operational Testing

Running through common transactions and edge cases. What happens when firmware updates? How do you verify receiving addresses? Troubleshooting connection issues. We simulate the situations you'll actually encounter.

Why this works for remote learners

Equipment You Already Have

Most exercises work with entry-level hardware wallets available nationwide. We provide equipment recommendations based on what's reliably sourced in Thailand, and our assignments adapt to different device models so you're not locked into specific brands.

Assignments That Build On Each Other

Each workshop module includes take-home exercises you complete on your own schedule. The assignments force you to apply concepts immediately — setting up test recoveries, documenting your procedures, practicing operations until they become routine.

Collaborative Problem Solving

Remote workshops include shared troubleshooting sessions where participants work through actual problems together. You'll see how others approach the same security challenges, learn from their mistakes, and build confidence through group discussion of real scenarios.
